Christina attended the University of Sheffield, graduating in 2008 with an honours degree in Law. Whilst working in the Legal profession, she performed regularly as a soloist for The Yorkshire Philharmonic Choir and Harrogate Choral Society, impressing other soloists of truly international renown with her assured performances.
Christina then decided to pursue the ambition of singing being her profession. Having successfully completed her LRSM and Post Graduate Certificate in Vocal Performance from the now Royal Birmingham Conservatoire, Christina is now working regularly at Birmingham Oratory, and as elsewhere a freelance performer.
During her 'spare time' she is Manager and Director of the contemporary vocal ensemble Via Nova which is artistically led by Dr Daniel Galbreath. The group has performed in Huddersfield Contemporary Music Festival in which Christina performed solos in pieces by Swedish composer Karen Rehnqvist, pleasing both composer and audience alike. With this same group Christina performed the solo in Feldman’s Rothko Chapel in one of the last concerts in Birmingham’s Adrian Boult Hall with BCMG. She has become a regular on the contemporary music scene and collaborates frequently with composers and visual artists and made her second appearance in Huddersfield Contemporary Music Festival in November 2016. Her work to promote contemporary music in the Midlands and beyond continues.
